Ambisonic Research Studio - University of Hull

Every now and then a new project comes along that excites the Design team, and helps us develop ideas, refine processes and push our site teams to further their skills!

The University of Hull now features a fully featured Ambisonic Research Studio, courtesy of The Studio People.

This room is meticulously designed around a Genelec 16.4 array, and features an elevating platform to allow the user to be in the exact centre of all 16 array loudspeakers.

To allow for users of different heights and working practices, the workstation is also electronically height adjustable! We undertook design and build, equipment supply and full technical installation, including calibration.

Works were completed in early 2015.
